Dr. Ishan Aditya

Dr. Aditya completed his undergraduate degree in the Health Sciences (Honours) program at McMaster University, where he received awards for academic scholarship and community service. He earned his medical degree at the University of Toronto, contributing to several publications in simulation research and medical education. He then pursued his residency at McMaster University, where his interest in helping those with skin disease led him to a focused practice in dermatology.
He has completed a Master’s in Practical Dermatology at Cardiff University and is completing a Master’s in Health Informatics at the University of Toronto. He is also a member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada.
Dr. Aditya’s academic and research interests focus on integrating digital health and AI solutions into primary care to improve access, quality, and patient outcomes. Alongside his clinical and research work, he is committed to medical education, mentorship, and leadership in family medicine. He serves on provincial and national committees, contributes to health policy initiatives, and holds leadership roles in innovative health technology start-ups. In recognition of his contributions to patient advocacy, leadership, mentorship, and medical education, he was awarded the 2025 Family Medicine Scholarship by the College of Family Physicians of Canada as the top resident at the University of Toronto.
